Command Sergeant Major

U.S. Army, MP, Retired

Senior Regional Sales Manager

Last Sunday was Patriot Day. September 11 marked the 15th anniversary of the deadly attacks on the World Trade Center and The Pentagon. I took time out to remember the loss of life in these horrific events. In the early morning hours of that fateful day, 3,000 people perished. They came from all walks of life and died in the line of duty – whatever that duty was in their respective station in life. First Responders, who rushed to the scenes in an effort to help, parents who went to their places of work to provide for their families, men and women who went about their daily business. They all did what they were called to do on that given day. And never made it home to their loved ones to tell them how it all went.

I served in the Army for twenty-eight years, six months and 26 days – with the last 7 years as a Command Sergeant Major for the Military Police Corps. The Brock Family is a true Military Family.  My father served in the US Army for 21 years and completed three deployments to Vietnam. In his day they called it “Tours of Duty.” I am so proud that the Brock children have carried on the tradition. My daughter Jenny (MP) has served in the Army for 10 years with two deployments, one to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. My son Tommy (MP) has also served in the Army for 11 years with two deployments to Iraq. My daughter Savannah will be Commissioned in May 2017 as an Army Nurse and my youngest daughter, Breannah, will begin her Army training in a few months as a Licensed Practical Nurse. It runs in our blood to do what we are called to do and it is an Honor to serve our Country. This would not have been possible without the outstanding support and love of our spouses.

In 2011, I joined Breezer Mobile Cooling as the first of now seven outside government sales professionals. Our team is an amazing group of people – all but one are veterans and look back on many years of active military duty in the US Army or US Air Force. Our entire team knows what it means to do what we are called to do. We all agree that it sure would have been a relief for our Soldiers to have experienced cool air during our assignments. Only those who have been there can fully understand what it means to be exposed to high temperatures, muggy air with no AC for extended periods of time, often heavily-kitted. Hopefully as my children continue to serve, they will experience Breezer Mobile Cooling during their own deployments.
The Breezer Mobile Cooling government sales team knows the challenges our military clients face and the solutions they need to succeed in their missions. We know that risk mitigation, readiness and force protection are always at the forefront of their thinking. And we are here to help them be the best at what they are called to do. That’s what we are called to do.
