Breezer Mobile Cooling is Proud to Announce We’re Exhibiting at the 2017 FAMEX, Mexico’s Premier Aerospace Exhibition

Mexico is the 14th largest aerospace and defense producer in the world, and the country has set its sights set on breaking into the Top 10 by 2020. With more than 300 aeronautical companies, $6.4 billion in exports, a workforce of some 45,000, and a particularly robust maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector, it is well on the way to achieving that goal. Breezer Mobile Cooling plans to participate in this growth, and will be exhibiting at FAMEX, Mexico’s Aerospace Exhibition, in April 2017. Read along to learn more about FAMEX, Mexico’s unique opportunity in the aerospace industry, and how Breezer Mobile Cooling can provide tailored value to the Mexico market.

From April 26 – April 29, Breezer Mobile Cooling will be exhibiting our industrial evaporative coolers in St. Lucia, Mexico at FAMEX 2017. With over 205 companies participating in the aeronautical sector, 3,500+ business meetings, and 76 Technical Conferences across three auditoriums, the event is a who’s who of industry professionals looking to advance aerospace technology and investments. In addition, 23 universities will participate in a one-of-its-kind Aeronautical Education Forum. Held at the Military Base No. 1, in St. Lucia, FAMEX 2017 will have 169,000 square meters of landing area, which will allow large aircraft to be displayed and demonstrated in flight. New technologies will be on display, and new product launches will dominate the international business conference event. But why is the event held in Mexico?

Mexico has quickly become a regional and world leader in each part of the aeronautical manufacturing industry: design, engineering, assembly, maintenance, and recycling. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, Mexico is the sixth largest supplier of U.S. aeronautical products. According to ProMexico, a plane takes off with Mexican technology inside every two minutes. With this boom in growth, Breezer Mobile Cooling knows the area is in need of its evaporating cooling solutions.

Mexico is a growing geographic market,” explains Elvira Amankwa of Breezer Mobile Cooling. “So is the MRO vertical. We are seeing great success in that area nationally and also internationally.

The Power Breezer created by Breezer Mobile Cooling is a versatile cooling unit ideal for Mexican manufacturing. It keeps workers cool in high temperature environments, improving their comfort, safety and productivity. Designed for industrial applications, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) tasks, and outdoor and partially covered spaces, the Power Breezer evaporative air conditioning unit can quickly cool up to 3,000 square feet by up to 27 ⁰F. With a 100-gallon integrated reservoir, the Power Breezer can last up to five days without replenishment. With Mexico’s humidity, hot weather, and outdoor manufacturing and repair operations, the Power Breezer is a perfect fit to keep aviation professionals cool.

We are happy to be part of FAMEX and would like to invite clients and visitors alike to stop by our booth to experience innovative, mobile cooling power,” says Amankwa. “Seeing is believing. Make sure to stop by our booth, located in the U.S. Pavilion.”
